XO laptops in the classroom!
Classroom Presenter for the XO
Hi all!
I'm a student at UW and have been involved since last Spring with a project called Classroom Presenter for the XO (CPXO). It is based on UW's Classroom Presenter for the Tablet PC and is designed to allow a classroom instructor to give an interactive, collaborative slide show presentation. Imagine PowerPoint where students see on their XOs the slide that the instructor is viewing, are then able to draw ink on the slide itself, and then submit the slide to the instructor for review. The instructor can then browse through a list of submissions and optionally choose ones to broadcast back to the students for further discussion. Our group did a demonstration last May in Mr. Ahlness' classroom of CPXO's Beta release.
